religious controversies of Salem Witch Trials
Why did i choose this topic:
I choose this topic becasue the Salem witch trials in back then so its called history. I also find it intresting and wanted to find out why the goverment was trying to acuse innocent people for doing santinac acts, thus leading the people to being hanged. There was plenty of information on this topic to help me create this website and put it together.
I conducted my reaserch by going to the website my teacher gave me uk.laws.salem witch trials. Then he showed us Weebly a site creation that you could creat all of your tabs, photos, info ext. After i got my password and username, I made an outline on how I wanted my website to look like. All of this work creating it tool alot of time to be put in to make it look like i tryed so i did my best to make it look good. After the website was complete I then made a Biblyography on the reaserch were i found my information.
I developed my project by going to my teacher and asking him " is this an ok topic to choose" he said "sure". So i had the good to go pass and i proceeded my research from there. I aslo decied to do this topic because I have done this topic in a past english class and we had to do a paper on it, so then I was like ok i have a good idea and structure on what im doing and im confodient that im going to get a good grade.
My project relates to Nation History Day's topic because the topic this year was debate. And in the Salem witch trials many people debated on why these innocent people were getting sent on a death trial for no reason. The judges and the towns people (purtians) were very religous towards god, and when people were speaking jeberish and other "santanic" languages they were being acused of Witch trial or worshiping the devil. But I think all of this was a pointless thing they were all fighting about and that they were all inocent and notihng was wrong, but for the people who were acusing other people, now they should of been called witches or "dumb".
